Echoes of their previous encounter, in which EG 16-0'd VG on Inferno, resurfaced this time. With VG struggling to make any headway on their T side, EG dominated their way to a 10-0 lead. Even though VG got access to the bombsites to get the bomb down in several rounds, EG was able to retake the site with ease. The first and only round of the half came on the 11th round when The_Guru picked off hattygOD getting overzealous on mid. Following this, the terrorists swarmed the A site and were able to deny the 2v3 retake this time.
Nevertheless, the map swiftly reached its conclusion, displaying a one-sided scoreline of 16-1 in favor of EG, leading to yet another embarrassing defeat for VG.

While VG was the first to get on board as they kicked off the CT side of Overpass, EG retaliated right away with a 3-round streak. A 1v1 victory from The_Guru gave them their second. All these round wins for VG were hard-fought, and EG made even Glocks look scary. After 3-3, EG ran into the B site with 5 Glocks and came out with a round win. As the half ended, VG could only manage 5 rounds on their CT side.

VG looked more formidable at the start of the second half. Despite losing the follow-up after winning the pistol, they strung together three buy rounds to narrow the score 9-11. However, losing a few clutches proved costly, hurting their chances of their comeback. As a result, EG managed to regain control of the game, and closed out the game 16-10.
