Lynn Vision drops to Group D Last Chance Stage
After going down in their respective opening day games to G2 and Virtus.pro, Team Liquid took on Lynn Vision as both teams were looking to avoid dropping to the Last Chance bracket.
The opening map was Lynn Vision's pick of Anubis with Liquid starting on the CT side. Liquid picked up the pistol and it was a 3-0 start from YEKINDAR and co. before a Westmelon triple helped Lynn Vision turn around a 4v5 to give them their first round. It was a back and forth half as Patsi and oSee kept Liquid in the half but a Starry ace saw Lynn Vision take a 7-6 lead. It was Liquid though who edged out with a 8-7 lead at the end of the half.

Liquid picked up the second pistol and it was six straight rounds for the T side to see Liquid take a 14-7 lead. Jee's ninja smoke defuse saw Lynn Vision get their first CT round before a team ace saw Liquid get to map point and Liquid closed out the map at 16-9.
Ancient was the second map of the series, which was Liquid's pick and Lynn Vision picked up the pistol starting on the CT side but Patsi's triple in a 3v5 saw Liquid convert their force buy to bounce right back. Liquid took a 3-1 lead before a solid retake from Jee and z4kr saw Lynn Vision get back on the board. An intuitive trigger discipline play from EmiliaQAQ saw Lynn Vision retake the lead of the map. Liquid answered back with a Patsi triple on the TEC 9 on the B site which saw them pick up momentum and it was 10-5 lead for Liquid at the half.
A Patsi quad kill on the Dualies saw Liquid take the second pistol and it was almost a flawless half from Liquid as Lynn Vision could manage only one T round which saw Liquid secure Ancient at 16-6 with Rainwaker topping the scoreboard with 26 kills on Ancient.
