Report: Revenant releases CS team
Dust2 India has learnt that one of the country's leading esports organisations, Revenant Esports has parted ways with their entire Counter-Strike roster barring one player.
Revenant, who finished runner-up in the country's biggest CS:GO tournament till date, the Skyesports Masters 2023, recently had revamped their roster bringing in Russian import shandarez and former 7SEA Esports rifler CycloneF. The new Revenant roster even beat Gods Reign in the recently concluded ROG ASUS Showdown Series 2023, to be crowned as champions.
Dust2 India has been told that the organisation has let go of four out of their five players and is re-thinking about their CS division in the region. It has also been learnt that, although it is in its nascent stages, Revenant might be looking to go for an international roster with their lone Indian player.
Dust2 India has been told that Revenant will be taking part in the upcoming DreamHack CS2 2023 event as an invited team but since the roster has been disbanded, they will be putting up a different roster.
At the time of publication, Dust2 India had reached out to Revenant's team for a statement on this matter, but did not get one.
