Media: Liquid's major overhaul
As reported by Dust2.us, Liquid are looking to make multiple changes as the team continues to rebuild after deciding to ditch their EU venture.
As per reports, Liquid are all set to sign Brazilian rifler skullz, who will join the team from paiN. The youngster has been grabbing eyeballs with his performances of later and Liquid are looking to get the Brazilian to upgrade their firepower.
Liquid reportedly are also looking past Patsi and along with Patsi, Liquid's AWPer oSee has been allowed to look for other teams.
While former Heroic IGL cadiaN is the frontrunner to replace oSee on the Big Green and take up the leadership duties from YEKINDAR, late last night in a shocking update, it was revealed that double IEM Sydney winner, Twistzz, who is just coming off the Sydney win yesterday, is all set to return to Liquid.
Twistzz, who was with Liquid between 2017 and 2020 before moving to FaZe, was part of Liquid's Intel Grand Slam winning team and the Canadian's time with Liquid is what propelled him as one of the best riflers in the tier-1 scene today. Twistzz won his first Major with FaZe, in 2022 and became a two-time Intel Grand Slam winner, taking it once again after winning ESL Pro League 17 earlier in 2023.
The final piece of the overhaul is Liquid looking to bring in veteran Brazilian, zews to replace daps as their head coach. Like Patsi, daps' time with the team has come to an end.
Should all the reported moves come through, the new Liquid roster will be as follows:
-
cadiaN
-
NAF
-
YEKINDAR
-
skullz
-
Twistzz
-
zews (coach)
