Skyesports Championship 5.0 Europe Closed Qualifier Finals - Preview
After three days of action, the time has finally come to decide who will make it to the Skyesports Championship 5.0 LAN Finals in Mumbai.
The Europe Closed Qualifier saw 4 teams battle it out in a round-robin format and now the top two teams will battle it out in the finals to book their spot in the LAN event.
AURORA VS TSM
This will be the second meeting between these two teams after a lop-sided affair in the round-robin stage that saw Aurora hammer TSM, who could manage only a paltry five rounds across two maps. Aurora are the hot favourites to make it to the LAN and after keeping a clean win-record in the Group Stage, where they dropped just one map - to NAVI Junior, it will take something Herculean from valde and co. to stop the Russian majority team.
TSM started strong after taking down NAVI Junior in their opening game but after being humbled by Aurora, they had to struggle against B8 to make it to the finals. MoDo has been performing well for TSM but CYPHER's no-show in the Group Stages almost cost them a place in the finals. While they have enough experience on the team with the likes of valde and JACKZ in the line-up, TSM know that nothing but the best will help them through.
While on paper, the game might be relatively close, Aurora are the favourites and should be booking their spot in the LAN event.

The Skyesports LAN Finals is scheduled to be held in Mumbai between December 1-3, 2023 and it will have 4 teams (1 each from the EU, Indian and Middle-East Qualifiers and 1 Direct Invited team). The four teams will then battle it out for the $100k prize pool.
