MOUZ shut down Astralis to book CAC 2023 Grand Final spot

Danes go missing on series decider

The first semi-final of the CS Asia Championships 2023 saw Astralis take on MOUZ as both teams were looking to make their first CS2 LAN Grand Final.

Astralis' pick of Overpass got things underway but it was MOUZ starting strong on their CT side with a 9-3 lead. Astralis made it scary for MOUZ on their CT side but it was a little too late as MOUZ hung on at 13-10.

MOUZ's pick was Mirage and it was an absolute hammering from Astralis as they clean up MOUZ at 13-3 with Staehr and device stepping up for the Danes.

MOUZ started the series decider with a 12-0 lead on their Vertigo T side as they were all over Astralis and it was Jimpphat, who went 16-2-3 in the opening half. MOUZ converted a 2v5 in the final round of the first half which was the final nail in the coffin for the Danes.

device and b0RUP combined to give Astralis the second pistol to deny MOUZ a 13-0 but MOUZ didn't take long as they closed out Vertigo 13-7.
