Wasted Potential vs Enigma Gaming - December 21, 2023 || 20:00 IST

The first team to book their spot in the Grand Final of the Gladiator's League Season 3 was Wasted Potential and its a rematch of both the teams' opening game in the event, which was the Group Stage BO1 game that Enigma Gaming had taken down Wasted Potential 13-10 on Mirage. Wasted Potential quickly bounced back after that to clean up Ambush 13-1.

It hasn't the smoothest road to the Grand Final for Wasted Potential as they suffered a big loss to LOT Gaming but held their own against Khatarnak and turned up when it mattered most.

A clean win against Griffins in the quarter-finals saw them go up against ROG Academy in the semis. It was another 2-0 in the semis and Wasted Potential might not be the favourites but should not be underestimated and taken lightly.

Up against Wasted Potential are Enigma Gaming, who were one of the tournament favourites right from the start of the event. Enigma's first game was against Wasted Potential and SpawN and co. have been absolutely ruthless on their way to the final. The first real test they faced was in the semis against KingPins and after getting blown away on their own pick of Mirage, Enigma were on the backfoot going into the decider on Ancient.

Ancient started with KingPins in the driver's seat but as the game got deeper, Enigma finally woke up and an absolutely stunning CT side from SpawN and co, saw them secure the semi-final 2-1 to book their Grand Final spot.

It will be Enigma Gaming's tenacity which will be tested by Wasted Potential's individual firepower in the Grand Final and while with current form and squad on paper, Enigma Gaming might be the favourites, it's going to be all to play for once the ten players join the server.

The Grand Final though won't be the only game for the day as other two semi-finalists, ROG Academy and KingPins will battle it out for the third spot.
