GameSquare bagged Complexity with an all-stock $27 Million USD deal in 2017

Jason Lake looking to reacquire Complexity

Complexity is currently under GameSquare

According to a report by HLTV, Complexity’s founder Jason Lake is on the lookout for potential investors to reacquire Complexity from GameSquare. GameSquare are currently in the finals stages of acquiring FaZe, opening doors to a potential conflict of interest between two teams.

Complexity and FaZe are both partnered with ESL and BLAST, two of the biggest tournament organisers going around currently. In an interview with HLTV, BLAST’s commissioner Andrew Haworth told that they were monitoring the deal as it posed “Challenges of competitive integrity.”.

If successful, this would be Jason Lake’s second Conplexity buy-back. He had previously bought back Complexity from DirecTV, a media company.
