ESL Challenger League Season 47 explained
Gods Reign add yet another page to their milestones, becoming the first ever Indian team to win a bo1 at the ESL Challenger League. Their only win so far in the campaign came against ATOX on Overpass in a narrow 13-11 game where Ph1NNN led the charge with 21 frags.
The ESL Challenger League is a preliminary tournament acting as a road to the ESL Pro League. Split region-wise into five tournaments across Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania and South America, the ESL Challenger League boasts a combined price pool of $290,000 USD.

The regular season on the Asian side of things will go down in a double round-robin format in a bo1 setting. The top 10 teams proceed to a double-elimination bo3 playoffs with the grand finals being a bo5. The team coming into the grand-finals from the upper-bracket will be handed a +1 map advantage.
The playoffs are seeded as follows:

The winners and runners-up secure invites to the ESL Pro League Season 20 alongside their $15,000 USD and $8,000 USD cash prizes. Top 12 teams are invited to the next iteration of the ESL Challenger League again with 13th and 14th place teams heading into S47 Relegation.
The bottom two teams at #15 and #16 will head into ESEA Open Season 50 for a shot at the next iteration of the ESL Challenger League.
Nearing the end of it's 2nd week's matches the ESL Challenger League Season 47's Asian division sees QUBE Esports on top of the points table with a flawless 6-0 so far, followed by ATOX with 15 points, conceding just a single match so far. Lynn Vision, -72C and komsomolsk are right on their tail with 12 points a piece.
With their only win so far coming against ATOX in a close 13-11, Gods Reign find themselves towards the bottom quarter of the table with just 3 points after conceding a couple of matches each to QUBE and komsomolsk and one match to ATOX.
