Second invited team revealed for Skyesports Grandslam 2024

Skyesports took to X earlier today to announce the second invited team attending the Skyesports Grandslam 2024. Indonesian team - Garuda Wisnu Voyage have been unveiled as the second invited team. The Indonesian 5-stack is set to make their first appearance at a LAN event in India.

In mid February, Skyesports announced Aurora as the first invited team for Skyesports Grandslam 2024. The announce came shortly after Bad News Kangaroos won the Oceanic Qualifier and booked their LAN event spot.

With these three teams confirmed, just a single slot remains for the main event which will go to the winner of the Indian closed qualifier’s Grand Finals between Legacy Esports and Gods Reign later today. The main event will see four teams lock horns in a double-elimination bracket.

Skyesports Grandslam 2024 will run alongside the Indian Gaming Show 2024 at Messe Global Laxmi Lawns, Pune. The three-day LAN event will begin on 14th March 2024.
