NRG revamps CS roster after RMR failure

autimatic joins NRG

The NA superstar set to replace FaNg

Three days after Walco's addition to the team, NRG have announced another new signing. autimatic will join NRG, replacing FaNg following his departure from the team. The changes come as a revamp after NRG's failure at the recent RMR.

After his brief Valorant stint, autimatic returned to Counter-Strike in 2022 with Evil Geniuses and spent nearly two years with the org. His time with Evil Geniuses was plagued with internal issues alongside a long trophy draught. autimatic parted ways with Evil Geniuses at the beginning of 2024.

NRG scalped up players from Complexity, Evil Geniuses and Liquid to return to Counter-Strike in November 2023 after the org shut down it's Counter-Strike division in 2019. At the time of their return NRG had their eyes on autimatic but the deal did not go through.

During his time with Evil Geniuses, autimatic averaged a 1.08 HLTV rating across 245 maps. autimatic's dream run came with Cloud9 from 2016 to 2019 where he was a part of their iconic ELEAGUE Boston 2018 Major win, marking NA's only Major win till date.

With autimatic's addition, NRG's roster reads as follows:

United States autimaitc
United States Brehze
United States oSee
Canada HexT
Canada Walco
