G2 choke yet again
As the first day of the Elimination Stage of the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 came to an end, we had Cloud9 and ECSTATIC going up against each other in their 0-1 pool with their BO1 taking place on Overpass.
A dominant defensive side from Cloud9 saw them go 9-3 up and even with their star rifler of electroNic having a cold game, Cloud9 put in a dominant performance to run away with a 13-3 win to get themselves on board while the Danes dropped to the 0-2 pool.

The other game taking place simultaneously saw Natus Vincere (NAVI) face G2 in the 1-0 pool with Aleksib facing his former teammates in G2. G2 started with a 3-0 lead on their T side on Nuke but jL with the Nova double saw NAVI get their CT side going. G2 started with a two-round lead and were cruising to a win going 11-8 up before an inspired comeback with Aleksib calling a stellar T side saw NAVI steal a 13-11 win.
