The Grand Final of the Skyesports Masters 2024 Indian Closed Qualifiers took place between Gods Reign and True Rippers. The BO5 kicked off on Gods Reign's pick of Ancient, where their T-side saw a tied score of 6-6. However, once on the T-side, True Rippers tore through Gods Reign's defenses, as they secured the first map to go 1-0 up in the series.
Next up was Inferno, which started off with a 4-0 T-side lead for True Rippers. While Gods Reign clawed their way back by stringing together 5 rounds in a row, TR turned the tides once again to find a 7-5 lead at halftime. While Gods Reign managed to tie the scores in regulation, TR went flawlessly in OT, securing Inferno with a 16-12 win.
Riding hot on the momentum, TR started the T-side of Anubis with a 5-0 start. Gods Reign clawed their way back into the game, tying the score at 6-6. While TR furthered their lead to 10-6, Gods Reign made their second comeback on the map, clinching Anubis with a 13-11 win.
Moving onto Mirage, Gods Reign finally showed some teeth. They kicked off their CT campaign with a 3-0 start, and while True Rippers matched the score by stringing together 3 of their own, that was all they could manage in the half. With Bhavi leading the charge with 21 kills, Gods Reign tied the series score with a 13-5 win.
All boiled down to the final map Nuke, where Gods Reign annihilated True Rippers. After a flawless CT side, they won the map 13-1, winning the series 3-2 despite a 0-2 start.
