3DMAX pulls a Houdini act against Sashi
The second semi-final of the Skyesports Championship 2024 Europe Closed Qualifier saw Sashi take on 3DMAX with the winner set to face BLEED in the Grand Final.
The series kicked off on Mirage, with a confusion in the 3DMAX camp letting the map through which Sashi capitalised on. Sashi started with a 10 round T side before running away with a 13-2 win to kick of the series in style. Vertigo, the French team's pick, finally saw them arrive on the server and it was 3DMAX this time starting with a big lead at 8-1 before Sashi salvaged the half with four rounds.
The Danes got going on their T side and overtime looked on the cards but the French deagles, stole away the map point which saw 3DMAX lock in a 13-10 win. Anubis saw the Danish squad start well and with their captain IceBerg leading from the front. 3DMAX tied up the score at 11-11 after being 4-11 down. 3DMAX managed to turn it all the way around, stealing a 13-11 win to reverse sweep the series 2-1.
3DMAX will take on BLEED in the Grand Final of the Skyesports Championship 2024 Europe Closed Qualifier with the winner set to book their place in the main LAN event in Mumbai, India.
