True Rippers run through Victores Sumus

The lower bracket encounter between Victores Sumus and True Rippers at the M88 Open League Playoffs saw a BO3 encounter take place, kicking off on Victores Sumus' pick of Ancient.

Victores Sumus started Ancient with the early pistol and conversions that saw them take a three-round head start. It was all True Rippers after that as they took control of the map, going 8-4 up before running away with a 13-5 win with DEFAULTER and Crazy_Gamer having an impactful map.

Inferno started with another big start from True Rippers, with the DEFAULTER-led squad going 9-3 up and like the opening map, it was True Rippers dropping just one round in the second half, to secure a comfortable 13-4 win.

True Rippers will now take on HXG Esports in the Lower Bracket final and after facing a loss to the same opponents yesterday, the Indian team will be looking to extract revenge and move into the Grand Finals.
