Teams confirmed for the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Middle East RMR Closed Qualifier

The team list for the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Middle East RMR Closed Qualifier has been confirmed with all 8 teams being locked in. The 8 teams will now battle it out in the double elimination bracket taking place between August 28 - August 30, 2024 with the winner heading straight to the Asia RMR.

While Israeli-squad NOM where the only ones who booked their place in the RMR Closed Qualifier thanks to their Valve Rankings, the remainder of the seven teams have secured their place from the Arabia, South Africa and Levantine and North Africa Open Qualifiers.

JiJieHao and Onyx Ravens made their way through the Arabia RMR Open Qualifier, with JiJieHao going flawless in the Arabian qualifier. Along with JiJieHao, who played with a stand-in, Onyx Ravens have also secured their spot in the RMR Closed Qualifier, with former-Gods Reign coach PokemoN in the server for the Ravens.

ohnePixel's DRILLAS, POGGERZ and Unlucky Much? have also booked their places in the RMR Closed Qualifiers, fighting through the Levantine and North Africa Open Qualifier. While DRILLAS and POGGERZ booked their spot through the normal bracket, Unlucky Much? made their way through the 3rd place decider match, after going down to DRILLAS in the semi-finals.

Bravado Gaming and Punishers were the final two teams to secure their Middle East RMR Closed Qualifier spots, with Bravado Gaming putting up a dominant performance in the open qualifiers. While Punishers lost the Open Qualifier final, the South African team had already made their way to the Closed Qualifier as a result of making the finals of the open qualifier.
