ESL Challenger Katowice rescheduled

ESL have announced that the ESL Challenger Katowice 2024 originally set to take place in November, has been moved to October in order to avoid clashing dates with the RMR circuit for the upcoming Perfect World Shanghai 2024 Major.

The event which was scheduled to be heled between November 22 - 24, 2024 will now be preponed and take place between October 25 - 27, 2024 to avoid clashing with the RMRs. . ESL Challenger Katowice will host a double-elimination GSL group stage across eight teams classified into two groups. A single-elimination bracket playoffs will determine who walks away with $50,000 USD and a coveted ESL Pro League Season 21 invite.

However, the rankings cutoff date remains the same - 23rd September 2024.

The qualifiers for the upcoming RMRs are already underway and will go on till 30th August 2024. Following these qualifiers, the RMRs will take place in the second week of November. Two RMRs will run for Europe's 14 Major slots while Americas and Asia will have one RMR each for 7 and 3 slots respectively.
