Skyesports speaks out about payment delays

Indian TO facing the heat again

Shortly after being called out for payment delays once again, Skyesports have put out an official statement regarding the same, giving reason for the delays and how they are handling it.

Skyesports stated that they have already 'disbursed $257,500 in prize money' for the Skyesports Masters 2024 and Skyesports Championship 2024. The remaining amounts hasn't been cleared due to 'onboarding documents for international transactions and other administrative processes', they go on to state.

Skyesports also states that they have maintained communication with the impacted teams and working to resolve the delays quickly.

Late last night, on November 16, 2024 current CPH Wolves coach ToH1o put out a statement on his X account, revealing that he is yet to be paid for the Skyesports Masters 2024, where he participated as a coach for Indian representatives, Gods Reign. OG's Head of Esports also stated that they hadn't received their prize money yet, with OG finishing runner up at the Masters 2024.

The prize pool for Skyesports Masters 2024 was $345,000 while the prize pool for Skyesports Championship 2024 was $290,000. Skyesports did not clarify in their statement about which payments for which teams were cleared and which all were pending.
