AMD GameOn 2024 Grand Final: Preview

Two new lineups to fight it out for a prize pool of INR 3 lakhs

Its the final day of the AMD GameOn 2024 and we have the CS2 Grand Final lined up for us with True Rippers set to take on Carnival Gaming for the title.

India Carnival Gaming vs India True Rippers - 11:00 IST

Gods Reign were the favourites heading into the LAN Playoffs but the new Carnival Gaming lineup, led by former Gods Reign captain Crazy_Gamer itself, put up a stunning show to shock India's #1 team to put Carnival Gaming in the Grand Final.

Carnival Gaming stunned Gods Reign on Ancient to kick off the semi-final with Crazy_Gamer and hattygOD having strong performance and while they did go down on Anubis, on the decider on Dust2, Crazy_Gamer led from the front with everyone turning up which saw them eliminate Gods Reign and make the finals.

Carnival Gaming have recently roped in the likes of Crazy_Gamer and n1kace and with Crazy_Gamer taking up the role of the in-game leader, its freed up SpawN and with Crazy_Gamer also finding major impact with his fragging, the Carnival squad looks like a dangerously well-balanced team especially given hattygOD's current form on the AWP.

On the other side, Carnival Gaming will have to face some of the veterans of the Indian scene as DEFAULTER, who is back to leading the True Rippers' squad is going to come for the title with also a relatively new lineup. reV3nnnn, who was recently replaced in Gods Reign, has moved to True Rippers and DiceDealer is currently stepping in for the team, in place of Ember.

True Rippers took down VICTORES SUMUS in their semi-final game as it was DEFAULTER leading from the front with not only his leadership but fragging as well. clouda, a former Carnival Gaming member also had a strong performance while DiceDealer, playing his first official in months, looked sharp as he reunited with his former captain.

The Grand Final will be an explosive encounter as two top captains in Crazy_Gamer and DEFAULTER go up against each other, both who are in top fragging form as well and another head-to-head to look out for will be the reV3nnnn vs hattygOD fight as its Carnival Gaming's AWPer who comes into the Final as the AWPer in red-hot form.

A BO5 Grand Final is ideal for both the teams, who prefer LAN matchups which should be a close encounter.
