The MongolZ receives immense support coming into the playoffs

The MongolZ were on song for the better part of the year, giving top teams a run for their money and winning out a couple of International tournaments. It was no doubt that they were a team to be feared, coming into the Perfect Shanghai 2024 Major's Opening Stage.

The Mongolian started their Opening Stage with back to back bo1 wins and then took down GamerLegion 2-0 to book their Elimination Stage, a result that hardly surprised anyone. However, they took their game to the next level in the Elimination Stage, taking down the #1 ranked team G2, straight out the gate in their opening match. Taking down MOUZ and HEROIC in subsequent games, The MongolZ cleared the Elimination Stage 3-0, turning many heads.

As we approach the playoffs, The MongolZ seem to be getting more and more support every day with many Counter-Strike content creators and the community in general putting strong belief in the team to beat teams like MOUZ and Spirit to make it to the grand-finals. Popular names in the community including KSCERATO, shox, MacMate, Launders, TravCS, Lucy Luce and many more have placed The MongolZ as the Major champions.

Starting this Thursday, 12th December 2024, the playoffs will run a single-elimination bo3 bracket accommodating eight teams.
