Gods Reign up against Rare Atom in eXTREMSLAND 2024 opener
The schedule for the eXTREMSLAND 2024 has been released and we have the opponents for Indian representative Gods Reign at the $100,000 event, which is set to be held in Shanghai, China.
The Group Stages will be following a double elimination BO1 with the Consolidation Final being a BO3 encounter and Group Finals also being BO3. The top team from each of the four groups move into the semi-finals, which will be a single elimination BO3 bracket. The action kicks off on January 14, 2024 with the Grand Final scheduled for January 19, 2025.
The MongolZ were supposed to take part in eXTREMESLAND 2024 but with them taking part in BLAST Bounty Season 1, bLitz and co. withdrew from the event.
Group A - Rare Atom, Gods Reign, dreamScape, Chinggis Warriors
Gods Reign, who are the Indian representatives at eXTREMESLAND 2024, making their way to the LAN event through the Indian Qualifier, have been placed in Group A. The 16-team event has four groups with four teams each. Gods Reign have Rare Atom in their group along with Chinggis Warriors and dreamScape.
Gods Reign will face Chinese powerhouses Rare Atom in their opening game in the Upper Bracket opening round while dreamScape will take on Chinggis Warriors in the other opening round game. A win will put Gods Reign into the upper bracket final while a loss in their opening game drops them to the lower final.
Group B - Fated Rise, XO, Blaze Warriors, Real Original
Group B has Chinese team Fated Rise, Vietnam's Blaze Warriors, Real Original from the Thailand qualifier and XO from the Arabian qualifier. Fated Rise is set to play XO in their opening game while Blaze Warriors will take on Real Original.
Group C - TYLOO, SemperFi, IHC, ONi
Group C has the heavyweights as TYLOO, SemperFi, IHC Esports and ONi CLAN make up the group with TYLOO set to face Oceania's representatives SemperFi in their opening game while Mongolia's IHC takes on ONi.
Group D - JiJieHao, ATOX, Miracle Play, Nalakuvara
The fourth and final group, Group D has MENA region's JiJieHao along with ATOX and Chinese squad Nalakuvara and South Korean's Miracle Play. JiJieHao plays home team Nalakuvara while ATOX takes on Miracle Play in their opener.
