ATOX qualifies for MESA Asian Masters 2025 over HOTU

HOTU fails at the last hurdle

The consolidation final of MESA Asian Masters 2025 Asia Closed Qualifiers came down to a faceoff between ATOX and HOTU with a main event slot in Ulaanbaatar on the line.

The Bo3 kicked off on Nuke, where mizu's fraggin opened the gates for a 7 round T-sided half for HOTU. They established firm control after switching to their defenses, and ended up taking the map home by a 13-7 margin.

The second half saw an even more dominating showing from them, with mizu shouldering most of the offensive efforts in order to find a 9-3 lead. ATOX answered in kind, taking the game to overtime and ultimately closing the map with a 13-7 win.

The final map Ancient favoured ATOX right from the start. The star of the first two maps for HOTU, mizu, couldn't find his footing in the map. As a result, ATOX managed to seal the deal with a 13-7 win.
