
Chinggis Warriors make their way to MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025
Chinggis Warriors held on against The Huns, to avoid a reverse sweep in the Grand Final of the MESA League Season 4, which saw Chinggis Warriors book a spot at the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025 following a 3-2 series win.
Chinggis Warriors kicked off their pick of Ancient with a slender lead on their T side before a strong defensive hold saw them close Ancient 13-8. After going 4-8 down on Nuke, a flawless T side lead by NEUZ and controlez put Chinggis Warriors 2-0 in the final after picking up The Huns' first pick 13-8.
A 10-round CT half on Anubis start saw The Huns finally find some form as they held on to pick up their first win of thes eries with 13-6 with yAmi having a stellar map, dropping 28 kills. It was another 10-round start, on their second pick of Inferno, which saw them hold on against a scary T side to tie up the series after a 13-89 win.
Threatning to reverse sweep the BO5 series, Chinggis Warriors finally got going after 2 maps to start the decider on Mirage with a strong CT half thanks to Efire and controlez finding major impact. While The Huns tried to push it to overtime, Chinggis Warriors held on eventually for a 13-10 win to close the series 3-2.
The win now has put Chinggis Warriors into the $250,000 LAN tournament in Ulaanbaatar, MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025, with the remaining 7 teams yet to be decided. Four of those seven will be from the VRS ranks while the rest will be from the China, Asia and Mongolian qualifiers.
