The Huns impress despite being eliminated by Falcons
After a scare on Inferno, Falcons found form on Ancient to send The Huns home from BLAST Open Lisbon 2025, following a 2-0 win the lower bracket round 1 game.
Inferno saw Falcons start with the momentum on their CT half before a nin9 1v4 got The Huns going and they ended first half of their map pick at 5-7. Early impact from nin9 including in the second half pistol saw The Huns tie up the game but once kyxsan and his boys brought out the guns it seemed like the Falcons would sail to a comfortable win before a Veccil 1v2 on the B site kept the Mongolian squad in the game and they locked in four back-to-back rounds to head to overtime. Falcons managed to keep it clean in overtime to walk away with a 16-13 win with the trio of NiKo, degster and kyxsan having major impact in getting the team over the line.
A pistol retake and the conversions gave The Huns a 3-0 start on Ancient but it was all the Falcons post that as nin9 and co. could manage only one round in the half after the opening three. The Falcons wasted no time, not letting The Huns put up any sort of comeback attempts as they won Ancient 13-6 with TeSeS and NiKo top of the scoreboard with 18 kills each, go 2-0 the series and send the Mongolians from from BLAST Open Lisbon 2025.
