India go down fighting to Kyrgyzstan

India went down to Kyrgyzstan in the third-place match at the Gamers 8 IESF Asian Championship CS:GO Female, with Kyrgyzstan securing the best-of-three series 2-0. India started strong on both maps but failed to close either of them out.

The opening map was Kyrgyzstan's pick of Mirage. India started things on the CT side and double from Sway and Stormyyy gave India the pistol. Three multi-kill rounds from Crackshot helped India go 4-0 up before both sides had guns out. A Jammie double opener in Connector helped Kyrgyzstan put up their first round but it was Sway's AWP that put India back on the scoreboard with their fifth round. It was a Jammie triple that helped Kyrgyzstan secure their second round. A Crackshot 1v1 against Jammie in round 10 saw India take a big lead in the half but Kyrgyzstan managed to pull back a couple of rounds to end the half at 7-8 in favour of India.

A Jammie triple saw Kyrgyzstan pick up the second pistol to tie the game at 8-8 and kitosyy's multi-kill against the eco saw Kyrgyzstan take the lead of the map. wersiee's double triple in round 18 and 19 saw Kyrgyzstan build a three-round lead. A Stormyyy quad kill saw India put up their first T round and a Crackshot double saw India make it two in a row to get the score to 10-12. wersiee's 1v1 against Sway saw Kyrgyzstan get back on the board and a wersiee 1v4 saw Kyrgyzstan secure map point. Kyrgyzstan closed the map at 16-10 with wersiee ending the map on top of the scoreboard with 28 kills while Jammie and kitosyy were close behind with 23 and 20 kills respectively.

wersiee and Destroy_Zloy's doubles gave Kyrgyzstan the pistol round on Overpass starting on the defensive side. After the eco, India put up their first round as soon as they had the guns out and quickly tied the game early on at 2-2. Xyaa's 1v1 against Jammie saw India make it five in a row to go 5-2 up. Kyrgyzstan got three in a row to tie the game at 5-5 and also broke India's economy. Jammie's triple which included a 1v1 against Xyaa saw Kyrgyzstan secure seven and ended the half with a 8-7 lead as India took the final round of the half thanks to a Sway double.

A Destroy_Zloy and drksky turned around a 3v4 to give Kyrgyzstan the second pistol and a Jammie triple against the eco saw them go 10-7 up. Crackshot and Xyaa's double B hold saw India put up their first CT round as soon as they got the guns out but Kyrgyzstan responded immediately to maintain the three-round lead. Kyrgyzstan made it five in a row to secure map and series point and closed out the map at 16-8 to win the series 2-0.

It was Jammie and Destroy_Zloy who were on top of the scoreboard with 25 and 22 kills respectively.
