First Esports World Cup's qualifiers announced
Esports World Cup's official handle posted on X, announcing the qualifier dates for the inaugural edition of the Esports World Cup. Six qualifiers have been announced across different regions and will go on through 16th April 2024 to 20th April 2024.

The open qualifier will host an unlimited single elimination bracket for 2 closed qualifier slots.
The Asian open qualifier will take place on 16th and 17th April 2024 followed by the closed qualifier on 18th and 19th April 2024 which entails two invited teams alongside two qualified teams locking horns in a double elimination bracket.

HRH Crown Prince announced the Esports World Cup in October 2023. Set to be hosted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2024, this annual multi-title competition will replace the Gamers8 event, known for its substantial prize pool exceeding $45 million USD last year.
