The MongolZ dispatch Eternal Fire with ease
First semi-final at the Skyesports Championship 2024 kicked off with The MongolZ going up against the unbeaten Eternal Fire team with the Asian team looking to book another LAN title under the belt. What promised to be a blockbuster encounter turned out to be a lop-sided affair.
The MongolZ's pick of Ancient saw a quad kill from Senzu help them with an important retake on the A site. A 5-0 start from The MongolZ was finally countered by an A hit from the Turkish team as MAJ3R held on in a 1v1 against 910. It was Eternal Fire's captain who led from the front and helped the Turkish team end the half with five rounds. The MongolZ had a golden opportunity to build a big lead after locking in the second half pistol but The MongolZ's T side speed ran them to a 13-8 win.
Dust2 saw The MongolZ starting strong and with Eternal Fire just not being able to close out the rounds, the Asian team started with a 9-3 lead. The Turkish team have the opportunity to close the lead once again by securing the second half pistol but the force buy win helped The MongolZ close it out at 13-4.
The MongolZ will now wait for the winner of the second semi-final between Aurora and 3DMAX to get to know who they will face in the Grand Final of the Skyesports Championship 2024.
