More disturbing details about Maniac revealed
While the Counter-Strike community is still coming together to digest the disturbing allegations of Counter-Strike 2 analyst, caster and desk host Mathieu “Maniac” Quiquerez sexually assaulting multiple women, Dust2.us has put out a revealing report which shines more light on Maniac's inappropriate behaviour.
Dust2.us' report states that they had eight sources come forward to reveal more details about Maniac's behaviour. The new revelations comes after BLAST, PGL and ESL all dropping Maniac following the sexual assault allegations from multiple women, accusing Maniac of sexually assaulting them at the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 afterparty, which took place in June 2024. The new details reveal that this behaviour was ongoing for at least a couple of years.
Heidi Darragh, is one of the sources of Dust2.us, who has come forward and she accused Maniac of inappropriately touching her at the BLAST Spring Final afterparty, which took place in London on June 16, 2024. Darragh states that she had her face grabbed by Maniac and was pulled away from him by her friends. She also revealed that her friends had previously warned her about Maniac and how he gets intoxicated and harasses women.
Professional CS2 players CYPHER and Rhys were also present during this incident and Rhys has stated to Dust2.us that he personally removed Maniac from Darragh. CYPHER corroborated Rhys' statements and has gone on to tell Dust2.us that Maniac's response to the sexual assault allegations is not accurate. Further details in the report reveals that Maniac sent multiple women 'sexually suggestive messages on Instagram' one of whom was 17-years old at the time.
More disturbing details have been revealed from events which took place over two years ago, the IEM Katowice 2022, where Maniac is alleged to have 'groped, held, kissed and dragged' the victim across the venue whilst she was intoxicated. She was later harassed again at the HLTV Award Show 2023, where she states that Maniac had touched her inappropriately.
Finally, there was another incident at the BLAST World Finals 2022, where, witness have told Dust2.us, that the Swiss talent was physically removed from the venue because of 'inappropriate behaviour towards another woman.' Maniac supposedly continued to harass the woman by groping and attempting to kiss her. He was eventually removed from the venue by other talent members.
While Maniac had initially put out a response to the first sexual assault allegations by journalist Hannah Marie, he has not put out any official statement post that.
