Team India started on the favoured T side, securing the pistol round conversion to take an early 2-0 lead. However, Sri Lanka fought back and won three consecutive rounds, tying the score at 3-3. The pivotal moment came in a tense 2v2 situation on the A site, where COCO displayed her skill with the scoped krieg, eliminating the remaining CTs and securing the round for Team India.
Despite a brief scare during an anti-eco round, Team India managed to maintain control thanks to SWAY's AWP prowess. With a favourable economy, Team India extended their lead to a formidable 10-3. Sri Lanka's unconventional 5-man CT pushes failed to yield the desired results as Team India consistently exploited undefended sites, forcing Sri Lanka into retakes. With a dominant 12 rounds in the first half, Team India entered their CT side with confidence. They swiftly secured the pistol round conversion again, reaching 14.
Exuding confidence, Team India aggressively pushed every avenue on the CT side, overpowering Sri Lanka's attacks. The map win was secured with a resounding scoreline of 16-3, with notable performances from COCO, Xyaa, and SWAY, who all put up impressive numbers.
Moving on to Overpass, Sri Lanka hoped to bounce back from their Anubis loss, starting on the T side. However, Team India continued their momentum by winning the pistol round, carrying over their confidence from the previous map. COCO made a bold move, bringing out the Negev in the second round and securing two crucial frags. Despite a 4v3 post-plant situation favouring Sri Lanka, a mishap occurred as teehee fell victim to a friendly grenade, ultimately leading to CrackShot's victory in the ensuing 1v1. Team India continued their dominance, mounting an 11-0 streak and shattering hopes of a stronger performance from Sri Lanka.
Determined to surpass their previous dominance, Team India achieved a flawless half, with COCO exhibiting exceptional skill across the entire map. The match concluded with a devastating 16-0 victory for Team India on Overpass, securing their qualification.
