Digital Level Up to be first CS2 tournament in India

Reliance Digital recently announced the Digital Level Up CS2 City Championship, with a massive INR 5,00,000 prize pool in tow. The tournament will be held in Mumbai and feature 64 local teams through online qualifiers, culminating in the LAN Finals on 22nd October.

Previously, Rise of Legion Kolkata by TEC was set to be the first CS2 tournament, with its LAN Final taking place on October 29, but Reliance Digital takes that honour to give us the CS2 excitement a week earlier.

The hype for CS2 is through the roof and every organizer is looking to jump into Counter-Strike. More TOs means more local events and will surely help the domestic scene develop, especially with the new prize pool centered qualification for Major RMRs.
