Lynn Vision stay alive at CAC 2023
The Group A lower bracket final was less than ideal for the home fans at the CS Asia Championships 2023 as the two homes teams, TYLOO and Lynn Vision were fighting it out to keep themselves alive in the tournament.
TYLOO's pick of Overpass got things underway and it was a strong CT half from Lynn Vision at 9-3 but Lynn Vision could manage only a solitary round in the second half as a stellar defensive half from TYLOO with Mercury and JamYoung leading from the front saw TYLOO secure the map pick at 13-10.
Lynn Vision's pick of Anubis saw both teams trade rounds to start things off and a back-and-forth half saw TYLOO edge out with a 7-5 lead on their CT half. Lynn Vision though, fought back on their T side with an 8-4 half that saw them hold on at 13-11 to take the match to a series decider.
Nuke was the decider and TYLOO started 4-0 on their T side. Lynn Vision finally got themselves on the board in the round 5 and they went on to get seven in a row to end the first half with a 7-5 lead.
A neck-and-neck second half saw Lynn Vision somehow manage to hold on in regulation to close out the map 13-11 and take the series 2-1.
Lynn Vision's win keeps them alive in the tournament while TYLOO's disappointing run ends in front of their home crowd without a win.
