Aurora defeat Gods Reign

Gods Reign concede big 0-2 against Aurora

Starting off on the T-side of Ancient, Gods Reign showed plenty of potential, putting the Russians at an early 5-1 disadvantage but the reality came crashing down on the Indian team when Aurora adjusted to Gods Reign's play-style. Aurora swept the rest of the half picking up a 7-5 lead.

Aurora outclassed Gods Reign in the second half with Norwi and BLECHONOKK tearing through the CT-defense. Gods Reign were able to secure just a single round in the second half as Aurora closed out Ancient 13-8, going 1-0 up in the series.

KENSI dropped 31 frags across the series with a 1.60 HLTV rating

Mirage was a whole another story with Norwi and KENSI going berserk straight out the gate, giving Gods Reign nothing on their CT side. While BELCHONOKK took space and gave crucial info, the rest of the team toppled the defense. A flawless T-side saw Aurora pick up match point in the first half at 12-0.

Gods Reign put all their might into the second half's pistol but could not open their account as Aurora handed Gods Reign a massive 0-13 defeat, sending them down to the consolidation final against Bad News Kangaroos.

With this win, Aurora have booked their grand finals spot at the Skyesports Grand Slam 2024.
