Skyesports faces backlash from community

Indian community unhappy with BuNTz decision

Following their decision to clear Marcos Gaming's BuNTz for the accusation of ID spoofing due to lack of evidence, Skyesports is feeling the wrath of the Indian Counter-Strike community, from fans, professional players, team members and more.

BuNTz was accused of ID spoofing which is sharing his account with another player who played for him during the recently concluded Skyesports Masters 2024 India Closed Qualifier and BuNTz's elevated performances, compared to his previous showings raised suspicion amongst the players who were certain that it was someone else playing for BuNTz. Skyesports failed to find any conclusive evidence and cleared him.

The result of Skyesports' investigation has seen them receive a lot of flak from the community, with Grayfox Esports players in general, who lost to Marcos in the Skyesports Masters 2024 India Closed Qualifier, being especially vocal about their disappointment with Skyesports and calling them out for being incompetence.
