Gods Reign's Ulaanbaatar dreams shattered by ATOX

The Main Event dreams have come to an end for Gods Reign, at the hands of a tough 2-0 loss against ATOX in the lower bracket round of MESA Asian Masters 2025 Asia Closed Qualifiers.

The Bo3 began on Gods Reign's pick of Anubis, where they could only muster a total of 2 rounds on the CT-side. While they put up a valiant fight on their T-side, ATOX managed to find the three rounds needed to finish with a 13-8 win.

Gods Reign's defenses were exploited even more on the second map, Inferno, as ATOX conceded just a single round on their T-side. Much like on Anubis, Gods Reign mounted a resurgence in the second half, only to fall short again with an 8-13 defeat.
