Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 OCE RMR Closed Qualifier teams confirmed
The second and final day of the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 OCE RMR Open Qualifier kicked off with eight remaining teams following Day 1, with the winners of the quarter-finals set to lock in a Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 OCE RMR Closed Qualifier spot.
All the quarter-final games resulted in 2-0 wins as TALON, The Art of War, Vantage and Arcade secured themselves a spot in the RMR Closed Qualifier.
The Art of War vs Shanghai Sharks
The first-quarter-final saw Australian squad Shanghai Sharks go up against mixed squad The Art of War. The Sharks' pick of Ancient saw an overtime to kick things off as The Art of War locked in a 16-14 win. Inferno was a one-sided affair as the Sharks just about managed to avoid getting white-washed as The Art of War secured a dominating 13-1 win to take the series 2-0 and book themselves an OCE RMR Closed Qualifier spot.

The much anticipated clash between TALON and SemperFi kicked off with an overtime encounter on the TALON's pick of Inferno, which saw AZR and co. hang on for a 16-13 win with nettik dropping 29 kills. Mirage saw TALON close out the series with a 13-5 win and propel themselves into the RMR Closed Qualifier.
